KOROUND Accelerates Global Expansion with Strengthened DECORE Functional Lineup
KOROUND, a beauty startup, is accelerating its expansion into the global beauty market by strengthening the functional product lineup of its brand DECORE. Backed by recent seed investment and consumer insights gathered from both domestic and international offline touchpoints, the company plans to diversify its product portfolio and expand global distribution channels.
Since its launch in July 2025, DECORE has introduced products such as the Collagen Mask Film and Cica Glutathione Mist, developed with a strong focus on ingredients and efficacy. Its latest product, the Sun Hand Serum (SPF50+, PA++++), has generated valuable user feedback through a pop-up store in Seongsu, Seoul, and participation in the “K-Beauty Glow Week” in Shanghai, which featured 50 emerging K-beauty brands.
KOROUND actively incorporates consumer insights collected through pre-launch focus group interviews (FGIs) as well as online and offline channels into product refinement and future lineup planning. Leveraging these operational achievements, the company recently secured seed investment from OpenNol.
Operating the high-performance skincare brand DECORE, KOROUND combines ingredient-driven formulation with user experience to propose routine-based skincare solutions. By continuously advancing its product planning framework based on real user feedback and usage data, the company is progressively expanding its functional product lineup. Following this investment, KOROUND aims to further strengthen its global presence by scaling distribution channels and enhancing brand operations.
